KC Welcomes HC
In honor of Habitually Chic's impending visit to Kansas City I am linking to a hometown design quiz put together by the staff at the Kansas City Star. I'm posting the answers in the comments section. For those of you who are not familiar with this feature of blogger, tick the word "comments" at the bottom of the post and a pop up screen will appear. (I subscribed to World of Interiors this week and as I was filling out the on-line form it instructed me to "tick the box." Furthering my Anglophilia.)

Re Anglophilia ... ever since childhood I have said, "Mind the gap" ...
aesthete - we already knew you had an innate design sense - who knew how far it carried? Also, I like the working in of British phrases - carry on!
Wow - I bet A.L - got a 7!!!
heheh

I love to say bloody awful, for some reason
After living overseas in the midst of many British friends.. my favorite to add to my vocabulary is "well done." works well at a soccer game. You can try it at a baseball game as well, though as part of such an american sport you need to say it with a bit of a drawl.
cheers.
I scored a 7! Woo hoo! I can't wait to visit and check out all the great designers and shops in KC!!! First, I have to finish packing! See you soon!
Totally blind guessing, I got a 6. Pathetic.
My dad was British, and used a lot of funny expressions that we all picked up. I loved it when he signed off a phone call and said "righty-o".
That was fun... I scored a 6... good guessing!
Will you be meeting habitually chic while she is in KC?
I'm a bad test taker...so I got a 4 :)
