Fascinating site -- thanks for sharing! Yep -- thats what I had to do (in a MUCH simpler form of course) for my O level art history course in England (many eons ago) ...... sigh. I'd rather just enjoy the art. I can recommend the book "The Art of Wonder -- A history of Seeing" by Julian Spalding. Fascinating look at artworks through time ..... found it through examining photos from Charlotte Moss' decor books. Odd way to find a great book!
