So many lovely things in there ... Hollyhock's. And that tea caddy looks real nice.
Last year on a visit to Los Angeles I went to the Hollyhock store. Nice location on a shaded side street, easy parking, pretty entrance, roomy well organized inside with high open ceilings. Four matching wicker chairs caught my eye, the kind you saw in the 1950's on Beverely Hills patios. The chairs were in excellent condition, large and would be delicious with colorful cushions. Each chair was $4500. After catching my breath I left for Tucson on the way back to my home in Washington DC. At the Tucson "Habitate" store I bought a period piece wicker chair for $50 which was a genuine antique. Who is actually going to pay $4500 for a wicker chair in this economy? Ann
