On Friday I received an email from my dear friend Sloane, "There is a bracelet in the "Estate" area of [the Ralph Lauren Gift Vault] that is Indian (the country) and I thought of you instantly."
Ralph Lauren Gift Vault? Hmmm.... So, I hit Polo.com but couldn't find it.
Typed "Gift Vault" into their search box. Nothing. Sloane is incredibly reliable when it comes to great stuff. (This is a play on words; Sloane and her sister own a terrific store in Kansas City named, yes, Stuff.)
So I googled it and discovered wonders untold. Why is Ralph (we've been on a first name basis for years) launching this site under a different address? Don't know. Don't care.
To have something on this site remind someone of me was one of the nicest compliments I've ever received. You can find it at ralphlaurengiftvault.com.

What a wonderful collection of things, especially that sterling ice bucket.
Ooh, the Vault, how cool these wonders!
Very nice things, thanks for finding the link!
OMG, only Ralph would dare to do this in the present retail environment; as he said in his recent show, "Now is the time to be strong, only the strong can survive" or something like that.
Simply Splendid Stuff !!!
*gasp!*
Oh gorgeous stuff! Wonder if this is his spin on a J. Peterman style marketing...
