Speaking of Swanson's, this vintage cocktail number, with its chic Swanson's tag still intact, has just returned from the tailor. My fairy godmother is a little shorter than I, but in most cases we were able to take advantage of the ample hems of well-made clothing.
The question is, should I wear it to DIFFA's Holidays by Design this Saturday? I've never been, but I'm wondering if it's just the spot a floor-length-fitted-leopard-print-sequin-number would feel at home.
If it is more of a sparkly top/jazzy jean/stiletto affair, there is this vintage Oscar piece. I'm dying to wear it, too, but think there will be other opportunities for her to hit the town. Either way, sequins it is; Rachel Zoe has had an influence.
Cast your vote, then buy your tickets so you can see the winning number Saturday night. Just so you know, Mr. Blandings votes for leopard.

I'm not sure a floor-length-fitted-leopard-print-sequin-number doesn't feel at home anywhere she goes. Get a picture so we can all enjoy!
2010 is the year of the tiger - I love them both, but I have to agree with Mr.B, that the leopard would be my vote. I hope you have a wild evening.

Either way you'll sparkle, but I'd go with the blouse.
I vote leopard!
Leopard!!!!!!!!! Looks like Bill Blass- I love it and it will look fantastic on you!
My vote is the leopard. It's a show stopper. And you know the old saying that it's better to be the bet dressed person in the room than under dressed. Sounds like a fabulous event. Have a good time. You'll look fabulous no matter what you wear.
Looks like leopard is in the lead. You guys are buying tickets, right?
Oh yes, the leopard. Wear the leopard. I want a fairy god-mother to give me lovely vintage clothing too. So divine.
Oh, yes, the leopard dress will be stunning. A great event to attend wearing it!
Where else should you be spotted wearing that divine vintage frock!
You will be puurrrfectly gorgeous!

Who am I to argue with Mr. B? I vote leopard. If you sat on my carpet in that dress you would blend right in! Except for the sparkles. Go leopard and hugs to the fairy godmother who has great taste.
Leopard it is!! Oooh and what a great excuse for new Platform Pumps. Enjoy your evening.

I vote the Leopard. It's a holiday party for designers. If one is going to wear a *fun yet chic* dress...This is the place to do it. Be bold & brave. Your tall & beautiful...You can certainly, carry it off. Have a wonderful time!!
I'm defintely with the leopard sequins. I mean, just those two words together is an absolute winner. Love the vintage Oscar blouse, don't get me wrong...but if ever given the chance to wear floor length vintage sequined leopard - enough said!
Ahhh Swanson's. I don't know if you recall the yellow dress I wore to the Jewel Ball this year. It was my mother's from 1950something and her go-to-gown. So much so that my dad dubbed it "Ole Yeller"
I'm voting for the leopard, too. It's hot!!!
You get to wear it. He gets to see you in it. Go with Mr. B on this one. Very glamorous.
Having the same issue here with regard to what to wear to this evening's Eddie and Jaithan talk.
Wear the leopard, take pictures, and sell me the Oscar blouse!
I second Mr B. I've worn my vintage Moschino leopard jacket to death in the past couple of months (but I'm coveting your sparkling shirt).
Leopard! You'll look fabulous!!
I'm saying leopard just because I've never seen you in anything like that and I want to see pictures!
Leopard. You only live once!
the leopard, definitley, the oscar blouse can be worn anywhere anytime. I would so wear that blouse with even jeans but the dress is ultra chic and special.
What did you wear????
