Southern Comfort Post Script

The truth is, I've been on vacation for the last two weeks. We drove from Kansas City to Carmel and back stopping at several spots in between; I'll fill you in soon. But in posting yesterday, I accidentally deleted this image from the Rheinstein story and as it is one of my favorite kitchens ever I am using it as a bookmark for today.

And, yes, I said we drove from Kansas City to Carmel. I'd do it again (though not soon.)

  3. This is one of my favorite kitchens of all time and it had me fixated on marble topped French baker's tables for months. And, it's a wonder you have time to post at all with three boys, a vacation, and car trip. There should be a blog award for this feat with your name on it. Seriously.

  6. Her island table is enough for its own post. it's the perfect piece to finish the kitchen. What a find!

Carmel is one of our favorite destinations since our older son chose Pacific Grove as his first home after graduation. I can't wait to read about your trip and places you've discovered. (Longing sigh)

  7. Carmel, just the thought makes be giddy with desire. The shops, the small architecturally adorable houses, it's clean, upscale and so desirable. I wonder if it that quality wears out if you live there?

You have my award for keeping us loyal blog watchers entertained while you vacationed. What a loss my mornings would be without you. Ann

  10. Very nice. Currently looking for a range and this one has all the details I like. Can anyone help me out? I've gone to the usual websites for high end appliances. None of them quite match the "exact" details on this one Please, somebody?

Thank you for taking the time to leave a message. I am quite willing to publish remarks that criticize me, but will likely delete disparaging remarks targeted at someone else.
