Speaking of Todd Romano, his wares are available on 1st dibs and he has this lovely Louis wearing a little Le Lac. Pretty spiffy use of not-so-much fabric.
i've been avoiding 1st dibs lately. it's so beautiful and then next thing i know hours have passed and i'm still drooling over page after page after page....
I love slipper chairs--I could fill the entire shop with them. And this one really sparkles. I'm rather ashamed to admit it, but I have a chair addiction: at the moment I have 24 chairs and 3 pairs of benches in inventory and more in storage. But I could perhaps recver by adding this one.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a message. I am quite willing to publish remarks that criticize me, but will likely delete disparaging remarks targeted at someone else.
I love this picture! I have a Louis XVI chair upholstered in a beautiful floral chintz. It lights up my living room.

ReplyDeleteOh, Mrs B, how about in Dream House 2.0, Use your Le lac drapes in the dining room and get chairs similar to these and covered in le Lac as well!
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo excited to see what you do with you new house!
I really think you should cover a little something for the new house in your favorite fabric!!
