Hey, remember
this piece on The General Store here in Kansas City? I thought that felted skull pillow was pretty terrif.
Then, last Sunday, I was lounging around reading the paper and
a piece in the House and Home section by Stacy Downs caught my eye.
Seems that bony guy was the brain child of local Lauren Zabaneh, owner of
Alice's Pocket. She is whipping up these graphic accents from fabric made of recycled plastic bottles, so you can feel good all the way around.
You can find these pillows and more at
alicespocket.etsy.com.
Very bright and fun pillows Patricia. I will go to visit her Etsy Shop!

ReplyDeleteHi Patricia,
ReplyDeleteGreat post. The tribal graphics of Moroccan Beni Ourain rugs and Berber pillows pair well with contemporary or traditional designs. Our Beni Ourain shags have a simple harlequin pattern, a 1960s vibe and a price that's half the cost in major rug dealers.
Please visit http://themoroccanroom.com/index.asp?loc=catalog&topcat=2&cat=3&pg=all I would love to know what do you think of my Tribal collection of Berber Pillows and Beni ourain rugs.
Enjoy!
Ali
The pillows are, for the most part, adorable. Lovely workmanship. Have to say, though, that I thought/hoped we were past the minstrel thing. A pity.
